The Department of  Management Studies organized an orientation programme for UG (BBA) students on 22nd  July,2015 at Srijan Hall of The IIS University. The students were welcomed by Dr. Chhavi Jain. A powerpoint presentation was showcased in front of the students which comprised of  the faculties of the department, location of the department, subject – wise credits, scheme of examination, Assessment and Evaluation pattern, Time Table , Meta Campus,  Departmental activities/ calendar, Syllabus, Departmental Website, etc. The session followed by a welcome note by Prof. M.K. Sharma (Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management). In his welcome address, he urged the students to use various facilities and the resources of the institute to become  industry-ready managers of international standards. He taught students to adapt a focused and disciplined approach in life for success. Further, a quiz was organised for students  by Dr. Ashish Khandelwal, Ms. Preeti Sharma and Ms. Vandana  Sachdeva .  It was taken over by Dr. Neha Mathur and Ms. Anjali Sharma for conduction of ice-breaking sessions and team building exercises. Students enjoyed the activities planned by the department and gained an insight about the course and department from the departmental presentation.
