Session on The Mumbai Dabbawalas
The IIS University in association with CII Rajasthan and Young Indians Jaipur Chapter organised a Session on The Mumbai Dabbawalas on 8th Feb 2013.
The speaker for the session on 08 Feb 2013. was Dr Pawan GAgrawal, PhD & President, Mumbai Dabbawallahs and Kamlabai Educational & Charitable Trust who addressed the gatheringon the operations and functioning of the Dabbawallahs in Mumbai. Dr Agrawal mentioned as to how the unique topography of the city makes this an extremely feasible service and has thereby resulted in its immense success and popularity gaining worldwide recognition in the process.
The sessions was attended Mr. Rohit Verma, faculty members, Yi members and students of Department of Management .Others who were present include. Mr Vaibhav Mittal,Co-Chair, Yi (Jaipur Chapter) and Brig Pabla. A total of 1050 students participated in the sessions and was well-appreciated. The session was coordinated by Dr. Poonam Madan and Dr. Ankita Jain.
