Celebration of World Investor Week with SEBI under the aegis of IOSCO Online Session

Department of Management-Management Studies,IIS (Deemed to be University),Jaipur organized an online interface for the students of Finance in association with BSE- Investors Protection Fund, as part of the celebration of World Investor Week, 23-29 Nov, 2020 with SEBI under the aegis of IOSCO. The session was organized on 23 Nov. 2020. The theme of the session was “ Investing as a Beginner”. The speaker of the Session was Dr. Priya Agarwal, Education Programme Partner, BSE(IPF).

This initiative by BSE IPF aimed to increase the efficiency of the participants and to enable them to keep pace with the changing economy. It involved learning of practical tools, live trades, terminologies explanation which will help the participants to understand better by providing practical know-how to analyze capital markets. The session empowered the students with the diverse skills needed to intelligently manage their investment portfolio and be able to choose the right company, the right fund and the right investment strategy with confidence.

The session helped participants develop a range of technical skills and knowledge needed to work in a fast-paced financial environment.
