CO 323: Understand different investment criteria and their advantages and disadvantages. CO 324: Analyze the learning and understand techniques for Project planning, scheduling and Execution Control. Market Analysis: Concept, Steps of Market analysis: Specification of objectives, Collection of market information, Characterization of the market, Demand forecasting: Jury method, Delphi method, collective opinion method, Market research method, semi- average method, moving average, least square method.
Evaluation of project proposal: Concept, techniques of evaluation of project proposal- DCF and NDCF techniques
Risk analysis: Concept, kinds of project risk, Risk evaluation techniques: Risk adjusted discount rate, Certainty equivalent, Probability approach, measures of dispersion- standard deviation, co-efficient of variation
Sensitivity Analysis: Concept, objectives, procedure, methods of Sensitivity Analysis – Percentage change approach, accounting break -even approach, NPV break- even approach.
