Fundamentals of Business Environment

CO112: Students will be able to understand the  constituents of Environment and their impact on business.

CO113: Students will be able to apply various aspects of Socio cultural environment on business.

CO114: Students will be able to integrate the various concepts of the economy particularly the developing country like India.

CO115: Students will be able to analyze the political and legal implications on the business environment.

CO116: The course would enable students to remember various components of Indian Financial system and investment opportunities.

CO117: Students will demonstrate sensitivity towards environmental issues and have ability to address them in the course of business.

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Hours using whiteboards, Lab Practice Sessions & Discussion, Short practical Assignment consisting of logical and numerical problems based on Ms- Word, Ms-Excel and Ms-Access software packages.

Learning activities for the students:

Self learning practical assignments and   Presentation, Solving practical problems using latest analysis tools of Ms- Excel , Case -based  practical Learning through Ms –office package , Group Learning – Teamwork

Class test, Semester end examinations, Presentation, Individual and group projects, Task-based practical exercises to assess students’ software  understanding & technical skills
